2012 Membership Renewals and Applications

Thank you to all those who have renewed their membership and recently joined. This is the busiest time of year for us and Marian Green, our voluntary Membership Secretary is working flat out to process all renewals and applications and get the membership packs out. Please bear with her - she is working as fast as she can!

If you want to apply for training dates and your pack with voucher has not yet arrived, then this is not a problem. Send in your training booking forms to Rachel Wood as usual and put 'membership applied' for on the top. If you want to use your £10 voucher, then deduct £10 from one booking fee and put ' voucher used - to follow'. You can then either send your voucher in later on receipt or hand in to the EHOA rep on the training day.

2012 Training Dates now available - early booking recommended

Rachel Wood has organised a very comprehensive programme of training for 2012 and has finalised nearly all the dates for the year. A few more will be added in due course in response to member requests.

Some dates are already full with wait lists so early booking is recommended, however if you would like to be added to the wait list for any full clinics, please send the appropriate paperwork to Rachel.  Riders do often have to drop out for one reason or another and places filled from the wait list. Please note that your cheques are not presented until at least 2 weeks before the training day. We would also add that we do not make a profit on the training programme, the aim is just to cover costs.

2012 Membership Prize Draw

The prize for 2012, courtesy of Incentevents is an all in trip for 2 to the 4* event in Pau, France in October 2012. The draw will be made on XC afternoon in the EHOA tent at Badminton in May. All EHOA members will automatically be entered in this draw so please join now or make sure you renew your membership when you receive the reminder.

Syndicate Guidance Notes

Where you join together with several others to own a horse "to form a syndicate" there is no single set of rules you should adopt. But there are a number of points that you should think about before drawing up the syndicate rules. EHOA Membership Vouchers available

Quite a few of you have purchased EHOA membership as presents for your friends and relations. We now have available an EHOA membership voucher which you can buy as a present for someone. They can then send the voucher in with a completed EHOA membership form.

It is also possible to buy EHOA training vouchers as well so that you can give a training session to someone as a present.

The value of the EHOA membership voucher is £20 (you will of course need two of them for FULL membership) and the training vouchers are £10 each.
