EHOA HOSPITALITY MARQUEE AT BADMINTON
For the first time, there will be an EHOA marquee at Badminton next to the dressage warm up area. It will be open all four days and will have CCTV and offer refreshments. On Friday at 5pm we shall be doing our PRIZE DRAW - the winner will receive an all in trip for 2 to Hong Kong in August to support our Eventing squad.
The draw will be made by Ian Dennis of Incentevents who generously sponsored the prize and Sharon Hunt. All EHOA members up to 5pm on 3 May will be entered in the draw. If you are not yet a member and wish to join, you can do so in the marquee.
PIPPA FUNNELL TRAINING DAY FIXED
There will be an EHOA training day (flatwork and jumping) with Pippa at her yard in Surrey on Monday 23 June. Pippa’s days always fill quickly so book now to secure a place. If her commitments allow, then we may be able to fix another date with her in July.
EHOA Hospitality at Houghton Hall
The EHOA have teamed up with Musketeer, the organisers of the Subaru Houghton International Horse Trials to offer EHOA members and their guests hospitality facilities. Click here for details

We are delighted that Caroline Powell has joined the EHOA Trainers list. Caroline is based in the Borders at Kelso.
EHOA Pony Club Prize Draw results

Special training courses for 2007 award winners
As part of their award, the 2007 training award winners have the opportunity to attend a special 2 day training course at Hartpury College. This will be held on 18 & 19 February and features dressage on 18th with Emile Faurie starting at 9am and show jumping with Andy Austin and cross country with Richard Waygood on Tuesday 19th, again starting at 9am. Members are very welcome to come and watch this training.
Jump4joy to provide prize for EHOA Martin Collins Intermediate Championship Prize Draw
A slightly different prize for the draw this year! Jump4Joy have very generously offered a Novice set of jumps worth over £1500. The draw will open on 3 March. Click here for details.

Lecture series
There are some very interesting lectures set out in our Training section (non EHOA days) including ones by Yogi Breisner, Jennie Killialea, sports psychologist and Liz Brown, Eventing team vet. Two more Trainers join EHOA list
Members in the West Country will be pleased to hear that Caroline Creighton and Tina Daems (dressage) have joined our trainers list. We are pleased to announce that Martin Collins will again join us in sponsoring the Intermediate Championships at Gatcombe for 2008.
MCI has been an important sponsor for the EHOA for a number of years and we are delighted with their continuing support. Further details will be posted in the Intermediate Championship section in due course.

We are also delighted that Shearwater Insurance have agreed to continue their sponsorship of four key EHOA Awards ie Owner; Owner Rider; Most Friendly Event; and Event Volunteer. Prize draw winner's Pratoni report
Incentevents put on a great trip to the European Championships for EHOA members. Here is the report from the prize draw winner Lara Hansford.
2007 EHOA Biotal Equine Gold Training Award Winners
We had a lot of applications for our 2007 Training Awards and it has take Ali Howe from Biotal and the EHOA's Annabel Brunner some time to pick the 11 winners. It was a difficult decision as so many of the applicants were so deserving. Many congratulations go to: Jessie Long, Johnny Hustler, Christine Eales, Wendy Cochrane, Lottie Kennedy, Alison Lincoln, Kate Morley, Miranda Palmer, Charlotte Springhall, Sam Cutts and Sally Chamberlain.
Each will receive £200 training vouchers, special award winner's jacket, rug and numnah, a year's supply of Biotal Equine Gold and a place on our award winners special pre-season training course which will be held at Hartpury College on 18 & 19 February '08.
Our December Newsletter will have more informaiton on the winners and there will be further news on the training course. Commiserations to the many who did not win, please try again next year.

EHOA Membership Vouchers available now
Quite a few of you have purchased EHOA membership as presents for your friends and relations. We now have available an EHOA membership voucher which you can buy as a present for someone. They can then send the voucher in with a completed EHOA membership form.
It is also possible to buy EHOA training vouchers as well so that you can give a training session to someone as a present.
The value of the EHOA membership voucher is £20 (you will of course need two of them for FULL membership) and the training vouchers are £10 each.
